I haven't been on Gather much lately. I've been busy gardening for a living ( when it isn't raining). It is raining today.

I used to inhale books - one every week or so. Now,
not so much. Guess I have ADD in my later years. A couple of my favorites: The Agony and the Ecstasy,
The Stand,
Pillars of the Earth. Too many to name.,
Now inspirational books mostly and horticulture/gardening books and magazines.,
I went through phases in my reading. I read for pure pleasure - not trying to find hidden agenda or meanings in books. I am (was) a huge Sci-Fi reader,
fantasy for a while,
Tolkein,
Stephen King,
Peter Straub,
Anne Rice,
Robert Heinlein,
Robert Ludlum. Plus I love the poems of Robert Frost,
among others.
